Compaq weirdness
Here's an XF86Config file for the Armada 4130T.
Some notes about installing Unix on a Proliant 2000:
- There's a FreeBSD driver for the Compaq SMART RAID controller
here.
- Solaris supports the controller, but the boot floppy couldn't recognize
the cdrom drive, so I had to install over the net. Bleah.
- I couldn't find any reference to openbsd, netbsd, linux, and this
controller. So I assume that those OS's don't have drivers for it. And I
really didn't want to do software raid5 across 6 disks on a 66MHz pentium.
- I keep forgetting that on a bunch of their lowend crappy boxes (deskpro's), it's F10 that makes it go into the BIOS settings during a reboot.
